FICTIONAL CASE STUDY

Context: This video was created for my company to overcome issues associated with brainstorming sessions. However, it can also be used by any team.

Challenges: Having observed some meetings, it has come to my attention that the same employees tend to take on active roles in these sessions while others are overshadowed. In addition, many times meetings overrun or end without real solutions due to lengthy or off-topic discussions.

Solutions: My search for solutions lead to alternatives of brainstorming. This video introduces the benefits of this new technique and explains the steps to conduct a brainwriting session. The short length makes it easy to be played before sessions.

Results: The video and the technique were well-received and are now used regularly in meetings. Colleagues have commented on the efficiency and the decreased pressure in idea generating sessions.
